Freddie Mae was born in England, Arkansas on July 16,1930 to Nevador and Essice Shepherd, Sr. (both preceded her in death). She was the oldest of 10 children. She married James Bunch Sr. (who preceded her in death), and they were parents to 10 children: James Jr. (who preceded her in death), Cecial, Johnny, R Lavern, Zonnie, Denise, David (who preceded her in death), Donna, DeWayne, and Fernando (who preceded her in death) who she raised with love and devotion in Chicago, Illinois. Aside from the children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren she doted on, Freddie Mae is survived by her loving siblings O.C., James, Lloyd, Jewel Dean, Berniece, and Joe (siblings Essice Jr, Doris and Lucille preceded her in death). Memorial services will be held at Carbonara Funeral Home, 1515 N. 25th Avenue Melrose Park, IL 60160 on Thursday, December 30,2021. Services will begin promptly at 1:00 pm and conclude at 2:00 pm. Pastor DeWayne F. Davis will as the officiant. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Freddie Mae Bunch's honor to "Rush University Medical Center" and mailed to Rush Office of Philantropy, 28057 Network Place, Chicago IL 60673-1280 or made online at http://rush.convio.net/FBunch.
