William John Suchy Sr., known to friends as, “Such”, was called home to our Lord on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at the age of 61. Bill passed peacefully, in his wife's arms, surrounded by family at his home in Rosemont, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 26, 1958 to William and Mary Suchy. He served 30 years at Rosemont Public Works, and retired at the age of 50 to enjoy time with his family.Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 35 years, Joan and his five children; Kathryn (Kyle), William Jr., David (Adriana), Chloe (Peter), and Ezekiel, and his four grandchildren, Emma, Hank, Hannah and William. Bill will also be fondly remembered by his sisters, Marilyn (Bill) Mills, Barbra (Glen) Bibbo, and Teresa (John) Kennelly and in-laws, Marie Wagner, Jane (John) Holman, and Thomas Wagner, with many additional nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded by his parents, William and Mary Suchy and father-in-law, A. Robert Wagner. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bill’s life at a visitation from 3-8pm on Friday, February 21 at Carbonara Funeral Home, 1515 25th Avenue, Melrose Park. Funeral services will be held at Carbonara Funeral Home at 10am on Saturday, February 22 followed by interment at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
